Billy Matheson
Billy is the co-convener of the ReGeneration Project, an intergenerational network of young changemakers from throughout New Zealand. ReGeneration was launched in 2009 and connects senior secondary students with young practitioners from a wide range of professional and volunteering backgrounds.
The events and workshops organised by members of the network also provide an interface for senior practitioners to share their knowledge, experience and connections with the next generation. His background is in design and tertiary education. He has published several articles on narrative approaches to education, creative processes and learning communities.
The ReGeneration group are currently in the middle of a 15 week national tour visiting schools, meeting with community organisations and hosting workshops and retreats. You can find out more by visiting www.regeneration.org.nz
