Te Aruhe Kitta Mio

Te Aruhe Kitta Mio is employed by AWHI Credit Union as the PA to the Board of Directors and also as the Human Resource Officer. However her real job is assisting my husband to milk 160 cows twice a day.

She is a wife of 42 years with 4 adult children, 10 grandchildren and 2 great grand children and caregiver to 2 nieces and a nephew.

Raised by a Whanau who taught her it was far more rewarding to give than it was to receive, set the pathway she has continued to follow for most of her adult life, and at times, unwillingly. A tool her parents gave to help me along my pathway was the knowledge about Credit Unions.

Te Aruhe is a founding director of AWHI Credit Union and passionately believes in this vehicle being an instrument for any group or community to pick it up and drive it for the self development of whatever it is they are looking for.
