This has been a significant piece of work, commissioned by the New Zealand Community Economic Development Trust (CED Trust), with CED Trustee, Di Jennings as Project Manager and support from Research Assistant, Dorte Wray.
The research has been funded by the Lotteries Community Research Fund. Supervisory support was provided by Ken Simpson from Unitec, and mentoring support by Ingrid Burkett from Knode, Australia.
Launches are being held in the following centres:
- Wellington: 1-3pm Monday 17 March
- Christchurch: 12-2pm Tuesday 18 March
- Auckland: 1-3pm Wednesday 19 March
If you want anymore information on the above launch events, please contact:
Dorte Wray, dortewray@gmail.com
If you couldn’t make it to a launch, please view Di Jenning’s presentation below:
The research report is the outcome of a comprehensive research process that included five focus groups with a range of stakeholders, and 97 in-depth interviews with social enterprise and CED practitioners.
The CED Trust is very grateful to the many people and organisations that so willingly participated in this research. The interviewed practitioners trade in a diverse range of activities and operate in cities, small towns and rural areas from right around New Zealand. The report integrates research findings with a comprehensive review of New Zealand and international literature about CED and social enterprise.
